Hey Loves! Back again and this time we are discussing, trying on and having a styling session with SYDNEY!
A new plus size lingerie brand that scours the globe to discover the most unique, size inclusive lingerie — from bralettes and bodysuits to naughty knickers and other goodies — that will elevate your every day (and every night).
Ready to dive in? Great – let’s start with the Plunge Push Up Bra! This red beauty has a gorgeous lace overlay detail that just elevates this bra from not only functional but down right sexy! With this particular bra you’ll want to order two cup sizes down as it tends to run two sizes larger. I’m normally a 42DD so instead I ordered a 42C and it fit phenomenal! The band didn’t dig in and was comfortable, plus was large enough that my fat roll wasn’t fighting it which meant no pinching or squeezing!
Next we have the five in one convertible bra! First I tried this baby as a strapless bra and I have to say the support and lift it provided without the straps was great! I will say that the band was a little snug and I probably would have ordered a size up just for a little more comfortable fit. I loved that this also came with the clear straps – even more styling options with these!
As always sending my thanks and appreciation to each of you, the links above are affiliate links and without your clicks and support I wouldn’t be able to make the content that I do, so truly thank you!
So excited to share this brand new ELOQUII try on and style session with you Loves! These pieces are fabulous, fit great and are so chic! Ready to slay summer with some flawless style?
First up we have the fabulous Peach Lift Step Hem denim jeans paired with the beautiful Sweetheart Neckline Down To Earth bold print top! The jeans fit like a dream and had room to wiggle. The top was lightweight and fit great! Loved the color of the print and truly felt comfy and confident in this look.
Second look we have the gorgeous rainbow pleated shorts, with pockets, that fit fabulously! I loved the length, how light weight and comfy the fabric of the shorts are and c’mon – you can’t go wrong with rainbow!
And the third and final look includes the peach lift button fly denim jeans paired with an off the shoulder white lace crop top, I paired with a pair of heels that had me feeling the vintage Marilyn Monroe vibe!
Hey Loves! Back again with a brand new wardrobe remix! In this edition of wardrobe remix I’m styling this gorgeous jumpsuit with puff sleeves from Pretty Little Thing! But first let’s talk about this gorgeous retro vibin one piece: as a petite woman (5’1) the length of the legs was waaay to much for me so I ended up having to cuff the hem, the fabric itself is comfortable with lots of give so I was never feeling like a stuffed sausage in this baby, not once was I scratching or itching because of uncomfortable fabric or liners and surprisingly the fabric was pretty lightweight so I wasn’t sweltering in it either, the plunging neckline was a blast to play with and it fit phenomenally around my middle.
Now let’s talks styling; with the plunging neckline I knew that any way I styled this look the lingerie underneath was going to show, so I did a little research and found Brassy Bra (boob tape) to create this glowing cleavage!
The first way I styled this jumpsuit was with a body chain that disappeared beneath the fabric giving that vavavoom sexy appeal I love oh so much, I added bright and colorful heels to off play so much white and a fun bright lip that matched my heels to livin up this look!
The second way I styled this look was by putting a little retro spin on it! First I adjusted the length of the sleeve and made it three quarters. I then went with a high ponytail, vintage looking cat eye bejeweled sunglasses, and a polka dot belt with the cutest bow in the back. I ended this look with a pair of edgy black and white heels, red earrings that matched my lipstick, and a vintage black hand bag.
The final way I styled this look was coordinating accessories and makeup: I used a powerful red lip that I matched my earrings, collar, sunglasses, toe nail polish, and clutch to. Clear heels kept the focus on my red accents. I also once again adjusted the sleeve length to just above the wrists on my forearm.
A few styling notes; I wanted to add that any jacket, cropped sweater/shrug, or shoulder wrap will also drastically change the look of this jumpsuit, with it being warmer weather I stuck with warmer looks this time. Also with how much room there is in the fabric of the legs of this jumpsuit it would be super easy to temporarily change the length of the legs by using fabric tape or hemming tape and changing the length of the legs to shorts or Capri length, then when done remove tape and BAM you still have your full length jumpsuit.
Oh My Loves… I don’t even know where to begin. Let’s start with a little chunky girl obsessed with fashion that she already knew she’d never fit in, she grew in to a teen who decided she’d make her own fashion and joined an ROP fashion 101 course where she won blue ribbons for her designs… Dreams of glittery runways, bright lights, beautiful fabrics draped in gorgeous designs while the hustle of the city created its own web of magic that entranced and made all dreams possible filled this fat teens head. Somewhere along the way this teen was discouraged by the lack of plus size representation and back shelved those runway dreams of attending NYFW and creating clothes that fat bodies deserved and loved. As we shift to the grown woman who I am today… it’s amazing I’m even here. From the beginning of my self love journey clothes where always a key factor; from dressing up, to wearing crop tops and showing off my belly, to showing my arms with no fear of thier girth. Clothing was a way to embrace my body and wear the clothes I had always dreamed of… We use fashion to depict our self style, make political statements, and overall give the world a glimpse of who we are in how we choose to dress ourselves. Which is why we need more diversity being shown by these brands. We all have different body types that deserve clothing that’s fashionable and on trend.
I attended one show this year (besides the one I walked in) and was treated so absurdly that I didn’t even docuemnt the show or the clothing. I was ostricizded and treated like I didn’t belong, I even had one woman lift her lip in disgust becuase she had to brush agaisnt my side. Fat bodies deserve fashion, we deserve to sit and watch high end fashion runway shows becuase *gasp* we love fashion too. So we will keep “fatting” up those spaces, sorry not sorry. We’re not taking scraps anymore and we are demanding a seat at the table, and next year I plan on attending again and bringing my fat body to as many events as I can while pushing for more visibilty for plus bodies and plus fashion.
Now, enough about that haha below I’ve included my entire trip (minus the fat shaming runway event I attended) I hope you Loves enjoy 😉
